About the Beach
This is a favorite beach to many in the area. There is over 200 meters of south facing beach which is sand mixed with small pebble. Very minimal seaweed with clear warm water in summer months and a good sized swim area. Conveniently has some great shaded areas in the trees set up with picnic tables, recycling containers and a washroom. The Ross Creek Country Store is just kiddy corner across the road, walking distance to grab some ice cream or some grub from their Kitchen!
Parking available for 10-12 vehicles.

Located along the Squilax-Anglemont Highway. About 5 minutes down the highway from our rentals located in Anglemont.

SHUSWAP LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK
About the Beach
A very popular destination, the park operates at capacity from early July to Labour Day (early September).
The park is situated on the old delta of Scotch Creek, has one kilometre of sandy, pebble beach, and includes the whole of Copper Island. The park also offers a large grassy play area, an adventure playground, a large boat launch, and a self-guiding nature trail.
Boaters may wish to visit Copper Island, located 1.3 kilometres offshore. A 2.8 km hiking trail provides beautiful views of the area. Please note that overnight camping, including houseboats, and campfires are prohibited on the island.

LAKEVIEW COMMUNITY PARK
About the Beach
Lakeview Community Park is a lakefront swimming and picnic area in Anglemont. There is over 200 metres of south-facing rock beach, with a picnic area, vault toilet, garbage receptacles and recycling containers for public convenience. This is the closest beach to our Lakeview cabins located in Anglemont, within walking distance from the Nauti Cabin and Home Sweet Lakehouse.
This public area is a little less busy and can find some spots that are more private down the beach to hang out at.
